Late Manchester curry houses

Howdy Manchester people (and people familiar with Manchester)

Taking a trip up there this weekend and would like a late curry (after a gig) if possible, on Saturday night. Are they any decent ones that stay open well after midnight?
 
Try 'Cask' for real ale and Akbars for Indian it is the best.

Have a look at their opening times, you cannot book in Akbars you have to just sit and wait http://www.akbars.co.uk/

Alternatively go for food first at 5pm - no waiting. It is utterly brilliant food.

EastzEast is very good too.

Thanks. Akbars looks good but does close too early. Can't go early we'll be in the gig by 3pm.

Been to EastZEast before, was great. Closes at 12am so would have to be in a bit earlier than that though.
 
Don't ever go in the first curry house either. See which deal you can get from the guys outside trying to pressure you in. Free naans should be the least you settle for :).
