I've got an Overclocked 980ti 1530/2000 and 3930k at 4.7 and wanna move on from my 120hz 1080 benq. Which panel would people recommend?

Asus, Acer, Dell and are the IPS screens worth extra?

The swifts look good but there seem to be a lot of horror stories...

Just reading the other threads... So many horror stories!! Might just stick with benq for now :(
Loving my Asus PG278Q ROG Swift which I bought back in 2014....:):):)

But got a really bad itch to upgrade to the PG348Q ROG Swift 34" 3440x1440 IPS G-Sync monitor (But with it costing £1000+ makes it almost impossiable to press the buy button )

I am pretty much in a similar situation as you. I too have the benq 24 inch but the 144hz version and recently been thinking to go 1440p.

Its on weekly offer at a good price but dont know if i should make the move either xD

But if i do switch it will most likely be this monitor!

WOW there crazy cheap now.........

Yup very. May order this week.

But just noticed its a Tn panel and not a IPS panel....

Hopefully someone with more knowledge can shed some light on this as spending around £400 I would want the preferred panel as I am not used to spending more than £250 on a montior as it is lol

The Dell S2716DG is solid, having owned a ROG SWIFT (TN) and also an acer xb270hu i would say overall i prefer the Dell. Now I love IPS but the problem is the acer had more blur at 60hz than the dell did and once it dropped below 60 the blur got really crazy(this is all in gsync mode). So if you are gaming at or below 60hz i would suggest a TN panel unless Blur does not bother you the slightest. Color is pretty good as well on the dell once gamme has been put down to around 0.80-0.90 either through nvidia control panel or a panel profile but i didnt feel it could archive the same vibrancy and image pop of the ACER IPS. Still looks good especially for a TN. Last comment on the Dell it does suffer from some reverse ghosting but its not visible in games to my eye but i can easily spot it at desktop. But im so use to it now that i can ignore it completely.
