Importing alcohol to UK

Equally worrying on the other side - people out there not even knowing the advantages being Europe brings, like free trade (cheap booze from Italy).

There are undoubtedly "Some" economic advantages from being a member of the EU.

There are also, undoubtedly "some" economic disadvantages from being a member of the EU.

Neither of those matter to me. The current economic situation is something that can change out of recognition within 5 years. Economics is both important and yet irrelevant at the same time.

For me, the EU vote is about what I feel is right (For good or ill)

What do you think would have happened in 1939 if Chamberlain had made the "economic consequences" his most important concern in making his decisions?

What about Wilberforce? Do you think He made a careful analysis of the economic consequence before making his conclusions too?

Economics is not in any way unimportant, But in the longer term. It is also utterly irrelevant!
