Best Co-Op games on Xbox one?

Hi.

What do you think the best 2 person co-op game is for the Xbox One? We've completed Halo 1 through to 5 all on legendary and now don't have anything to play! What have you enjoyed the most? We're looking for games with great story lines to really get into.

Borderlands is alright (some love it)
Rayman legends is good fun

im a bit like you i prefer to game coop with my buddy and for me the best coop game for playability, fun and lack of issues and also is a brilliant game is DYING LIGHT the game is massive and also now has an new expansion which makes it even bigger .

Yeah, I hardly ever play when it is just me. Will check out the suggestions so far.

Dead Rising 3 has online co-op IIRC.

funny as me and my mate have just completed this as far as the story goes its ok lots to do and needs good teamwork , we still have a few sidemissions to do but we are both level 30 now and dont really like the darkzone.

if you can pick it up cheap enough its deffo worth it

we also enjoyed dead rising 3 and sunset overdrive

Not strictly a relevant post but Portal 2 had amazing co-op play, wish they'd make it compatible with Xbox One..

Dying light you will have hours of fun with, Maybe Ark survival evolved as well but prob better on PC. Personally speaking on Division it is boring and repetitive and soon gets boring.

Alternatively older games with a new one upcoming is gears of war which are fun with friends

Me and my mate are playing the Division(PC it'll work just the same on X1). Not much story and you really need a party of 4 to make real progress. Not sure if Dead Space 3 is on backward compatible games, and online... that's fun. Maybe Resident Evil Revelations 1 + 2 would suit you?

Well we went for Dying Light. Last weeks session was spent playing alone next to each other getting to the stage where we can play coop. And today it said the game was unavailable every time we tried to join. Apparently this is common?

never had a problem once , are you inviting your friend correctley and the single player part is a very very small bit lasting only about 15 mins its sort of a tutorial . once done by both then you team up. its one of the best multiplayer games of this generation for me.

to do all the missions and side missions and then the expansion will not be a quick 5 hour jobby this will take you a long time and is well worth it.

im not sure why you are getting problems ? you have both completed the small single plyer part right ?

Haha. The first bit took us about 90 minutes to do on hardest. We joined each others game OK after completing that bit then tried to continue this week. We tried making a party and then selecting invite party, didn't work. One of us invited the other and it loads but then says the game is no longer available. Likewise if the other one chooses the person in the guide and says join game. We couldn't work out what we were doing wrong so went to the pub instead.

rocket league.

actually playing it tonight with 2 other friends. one is bringing his box round and 2 of us will split screen. we have many evenings of fun playing this game.

we didnt us the party invite on xbox we used the in game invite in the menu system its best to wait for both games to load up first as there is quite a intro to load it all . then when you recieve the invite accept and then wait as it takes a while to link up to your partner its not instant
