I'm going to keep it for a few more weeks and see if it causes me anymore back problems, I've stayed off the bike since Wednesday and my back has been fine, it doesn't have brembo brakes, it has nissin brakes and kayaba suspension.

If that's correct, read it online lol :p

What bike/s are you thinking of getting?

I've added Daytona 675R onto my list, 2 years is a long time though so we'll see what insurance will be like and what bikes will be within my budget.

Couple people have told me a sports bike suits my riding style, I like to lean. :D

I don't want to lose any power, my triple has 100bhp and it pulls like crazy in any gear, I don't want to lose that, being in 1st, 2nd or 3rd are the best as you can go from 30 to 70-80 in a few seconds and it'll go up to 146 (private land) before you hit the red line in 6th,maybe more with better gear changes, it is an epic bike.

As to what I want next, the only bike under 800cc is the z800 which will match and exceed the triple, I don't want a sports bike so has to be a naked.

The Z800 is low and wide, wet weight something like 240kg's or 248kg can't remember now. That's heavy, you probably don't feel the weight as much, due to the height of the bike.

Its not OT, my department supports servers, different systems, networks and hardware. Its open 7 days a week...

Edit: Time to go and sun is out, perfect! :D

did about 250 miles today, first time on my new tyres and they feel amazing compared to squared off tyres. the bike feels like it just wants to go over into corners and I managed to scare myself leaning over too far...... then look at the tyre and I've hardly leant it over. brilliant ride though and nice weather apart from near Scarborough coast it got a bit chilly.

Just get a Speed Triple then :D

I've done 8 hours of riding through a day and only had neck pain pain due to a 15kg travel backpack dragging backwards (no panniers last year, so tent, sleeping bag, water and so on was all on my back).

Or you could go for something like the Super Duke? S1000R? :) I would go Super Duke if I was to get a new bike now

I have a 61 plate YBR125 with broken seat fairing. I've tried everywhere, from Gumtree to EBay to Yamaha but I can't get hold of a replacement.

Any ideas? Old or new. Need to get it replaced to max on part exchange. The current duct tape quick fix got it through the MOT but it looks terrible!

Thanks.

Will upload a pic in a bit. It's U shaped and wraps around the seat, the rear light is built into it. Got knocked over while on its stand. Bent the clutch lever too but I've sourced one of those.
