I have absolutely no idea, that is the stupid part. If Ricciardo got ahead before slicks were ready and he had to go another 5 laps before slicks, sure I understand the risk but when he pitted from the lead? His outlap was terrible, there is absolutely no way that Ricciardo with like.. well it must have been a 10 second delay, he came out just ahead. Did Hamilton spin on his outlap and they just missed it? Maybe he has damage as a result.
And this is why I like Monaco, make a mistake and your out.
Race which shows if skill, not fir over taking.
It's good to have a mixture of tracks. Be boring if all races where boring tile tracks.
