How to fix scafolding tube to wall

Got this 16ft section last night and it's heavy.

She wanted a old school washing line so running a length from Garage Apex to this. Same height, level etc.

Question is how to mount this too the wall?

I can maybe sink it down 2ft and use some postcrete to hold the base in.

Ideas.

That scaffold pole is very long, does it need to be that high?

Garage apex is 14ft. She wants it high so away from the kids etc.

Very old school. I lived in Plymouth once with the Navy and had them there. Clothes dried nice and didn't need ironing as much. Could get loads on the line at once.

Bit awkward given it's in a corner. You could either use some steel angle and bend it to shape, then drill into the wall. Or you could use a proper wall-plate with built in scaffold clamp but you'd need to choose which wall to use so you could tighten the bolt.

I'd be bolted to A wall, not across the front of it between the two. The photo's make it look like it's in a corner.

It's one solid wall just a supporting section is twice the thickness and that's where I rested the pole but now going to use the brackets as suggested above and bolt all the way through.

These fit my pole as it's 48.3mm. The bolt size on them is 11mm so should get a decent fix

I used these clamps at work to put a load of 21ft Scaffold poles up..They hold the pole much closer to the wall then the clamp you linked too.

I cut the bottom off of the clamp so I could slide the Scaffold pole through them...

Am I being daft here but how do you put the washing on the line if its 12ft in the air?
