Hi Guys,

Looking for a mount for my Nexus 5x in the car, who else apart from Brodit do good mounts? I think I prefer the phone being upright (like it's in my hand) so I can easily skip songs, read messages and look at the satnav so I want to avoid any horizontal one if possible

Brodit have this: http://www.brodit.com/compareProduct.html?a1=655042&a2=605043

Does anyone know anyone else who's worth looking at?

Thanks

Take a look at RAM X-Grip holders. Not cheap and rather chunky, but they work and are virtually unbreakable.

So more expensive and more ugly.

Brodit is fine, they are very solid, I got another one for my new car because the one in the Yaris had been good. It's more than solid enough and never comes off.

Brodit Proclip or Kenu Airframe + , you can get a cheapy copycat ones from the bay for like £4 , does the job.

cheers guys, I'll try that magnet one first to see how I get on (I have a rubber case the magnet can hide behind)

Yeah I got the latter copycat from Amazon for around a quid. Only issue is depends on where your car vents are and I've hit the hazard lights a few times :p

Any good windscreen mount options? The position of the vents in my car mean I don't want something like the airframe
