Car mounts - Brodit?

Hi Guys,

Looking for a mount for my Nexus 5x in the car, who else apart from Brodit do good mounts? I think I prefer the phone being upright (like it's in my hand) so I can easily skip songs, read messages and look at the satnav so I want to avoid any horizontal one if possible

Most people have a case. So you just slot it in between, don't stick it to anything.

Brodit is fine, they are very solid, I got another one for my new car because the one in the Yaris had been good. It's more than solid enough and never comes off.

Someone at work had a Brodit that looks to be mounted in the same place, maybe a little lower, not sure. As a passenger, i kept kneeing it. Just an FYI.

Yeah I got the latter copycat from Amazon for around a quid. Only issue is depends on where your car vents are and I've hit the hazard lights a few times

Don't buy an airframe they are a rip off compared to an ebay version for £3.

Precisely this. I've bought a couple on eBay for both cars. Small, unobtrusive and very easy to get the phone in and out of.

I also have an Airframe +. Actually surprised with how well it holds my iPhone 6+ in place. But op, please don't read messages while driving
