My plan was to pick up a Dell S2716DG to go with a pascal GPU, however its now out of stock and contacting OcUK it has no ETA.

Therefore I was looking for alternatives and found the Acer Predator TN offering slightly cheaper with what looks to be similar specs:

I can't find any reviews online of it, does anyone know if its any good? If its comparable to the Dell then I'll pull the trigger.

Thanks.

Same problem dont know what to do now even thou i ordered when it was in stock.

Some reviews on othersites have mixed reactions therfore i think i will wait for dell. Could be lucky and get a decent scree. Spec wise looks identical. For long term investment id feel DELL a safer bet.

Interesting... What does B-Grade mean exactly?

EDIT: Hmm just read it only has 90 day warranty...

If you contact Dell they will give you the full 3 years from manufacturing date :)

Mine is due to arrive in an hour so I'll report back this evening on my thoughts.

I read that last night :D Very cool - If it comes in good nick that's an awesome deal!

Please do keep us posted with the condition!

Just seen the B-Stock is out of stock again :p *Cries*

Quick update for you guys, wow the Dell S2716DG really hasn't disappointed! Its really nice looking, great colours and contrast. Nice and quick for gaming too. Just waiting on my 980Ti to arrive tomorrow so I can try out the G Sync and 144hz awesomesauce.

B Grade was a box that had been opened and a thumb print on the screen at the bottom which cleaned off easily. Everything else was untouched and the screen is perfect with no dead pixels or BLB. Still had all protective film etc on, well pleased!

Just an FYI, I wrote to OcUKs Customer Service and they said:

OcUK said:
We dont have a confirmed ETA showing on the system at the moment im afraid Marky but I suspect we'll have a delivery with in 7 working days all being well

Fingers crossed the Dells will be back in stock soon...

Still not decided if I'm keen to spend that much on a TN panel though - Considering maybe spending a little more on the "QC lottery" for a IPS panel :p
