Best fans at reduced rpm?

So I have looked at most fans and a lot of them have good stats ie. The vardar fans have great sp but that sp is at the top speed.

I just want to know some good fans to run below 1000rpm. My vardar are not silent above 1000rpm (completly bare able though) but why sit and listen to that noise if you can have the same or better cooling with less noise. I see plenty of people say they run fans at 600rpm.

All my 3 fans (counting the 2 on my CPU cooler as one) are currently below 600rpm, CPU is at just 274rpm (CPU currently at 32 degrees with my D15s). ASUS AI Suite 3 Fan Xpert was a revelation to me.
I've recently installed an Akasa Apache Black and a Phanteks PH-F140XP and I am very happy with those. My PC is silent at the moment.

In also interested in this for my silent PC build.

Maybe I'm a bit anal but there's silent and 'silent'

I'm going for holding your ear mm's from the PC case and not hearing a thing, even at full load. Not quite there but very close!

I use the pwr fan header in my mobo which enables me to set fan speed with a pmw fan anywhere between 0-100% however even at 20% I can hear a whirring. Am I being unreasonable?

I made a 5v/12v switch for the front of my case.

My Noctua Redux fans all work beautifully at both voltages.

I don't need a fan controller as I can control my fans fine in an app.

I've read somewhere that corsair sp fans are great at lower rpm. Not so at higher rpm. My vardar are great for cooling. Nothing in my pc goes over 68c with dams ate 1500rpm just would like them to sit lower. I've heard 600rpm from some users that probably is on more rad space than I have though.

I'm on 480mm of rad but only 360 of it can have fans on. Not enough clearance for the last fan.

Whenyou fitted your fans to your rad did you seal off the end with no fan on? If you just left it open the air would escape from there reducing your static pressure to nothing.

I assume ya did but i thought i better mention it just incase :) i had a similar situation once and i cut a piece of foam and jammed it in under the last fan to stop the air rushing out that end.

You assumed wrong lol. I didn't think that would matter. I assumed the air inside the case would still be pushed through the radiator.

I will have to find something to seal it with then.

Almost all specifications you are at speed, and there are few if any that are 'quiet' at 1000rpm or above. The best 'quiet' fans are probably still Nidec-Servo Gentle Typhoons.
