Asus Aura 4-pin rgb-strip header

Hi All

Is anyone using the above with 5050 rgb led strips if so what ones are you using

I am about to set this up and purchased a strip on the rainforrest - noting both the strip and the board both have male connectors I also purchased a female/female adapter. I specifically searched for a strip that did have just the connectors and not a heatshrinked on/off switch etc. Hope this helps.

Apologies if this breaches any competitor rules, but I don't see ocuk stocking 5050s.

It's the Strixx X99 - don't wait for me though I bought the parts but won't do the build for a couple of weeks.

meant to say you get a 4 pin rgb connector with the board so you did not need to buy the connectors

Hi mate - just finished the build - couldn't wait....

RGB strip works a treat :-)

I used one manufactured by TingKam, 1 metre length. I needed the adapter after all.

Board is lovely and performs very well, coming from X79 the mem bandwith is 25% more and loving the SATA 6g everywhere!

1m seems to fit perfectly in my H440 - fits along the top and then down the front of the case. Dont forget the adapter! Mine was manufactured by LitaElek.

I thought the 4 female pin side of the led strip would connect straight into the RGB cable supplied with the motherboard? Im confused LOL

My LED strip has a male connector - may just be the one i bought though, sure there are loads of them.
