I am listening to this Raggae song and the man says "Murder She Wrote"

what does this mean?? Is he talking about abortion or not?

It refers to the traditional process in which anyone can become a detective, the common murder story where a murder happens, a list of suspects is generated, a murder weapon is found a and thru deduction, a conclusion is met- portrayed in the way that any murder novel is traditionally written

According to the usually wrong yahoo answers.

yep totally wrong.

i am reading online that it has got to do with abortion.
but what I am struggling to understand is why that blonde woman had that show with the same name. (thanks sounded)

You mean Angela Lansbury. The TV title was used some 10 years before that song.

Anyway the song starts off in English but goes a bit skew whiff on the language. It could be about anything, the writers obviously don't want us to know what :-)

Andi.

My Nan used to watch the show. I really enjoyed it as a kid.

Sorry, I think I just sacrificed my masculinity.

I think it is two fold.

1st, she is a pretty girl who runs around with many men. Enough to cause aggro between different suitors. I think that the first time around there is emphasis on that she is pretty enough to kill for, and, I think the narrator has killed 'for' her, that's why if he told you you would say you did not know what you know.

2nd, is obviously regarding having had abortions, but has kept some of her babies? Maybe the Narrator suffered from her having an abortion.

Can't see much else.

thanks I think this explanation makes sense.

"her beauty is like a rose"

^ Damn, yes. Every rose has it's thorn. Probably no mistake that her beauty is compared to the rose, and not something else.

How many have bled trying to pick her.

Basically the singer knows some girl called Maxine who's super attractive but also a bit of a ****, the song is about girls like Maxine potentially causing someone to get murdered because people would kill for her. Maybe she's had a few abortions too which is partially what the "murder" refers to.

"Seh girl yuh pretty
Yuh face is pretty
But yuh character dirty
Gal yuh just a have to
Flirty flirty
Yuh run to Tom Dick,
An also Harry"
