A few questions about my Audi A4 (B8) Avant '62 plate

I recently purchased an Audi A4 Avant which imo is a beautiful car. It's the 2.0 litre TDi model and has the 3G Low mmi system (I think). I just wanted to see if anyone else has one and if there is a particular forum you use. One reason I ask is I noticed the car has the fish scale interior trim which I like but I noticed on the front doors it doesn't have this trim instead it has a coarse type metal trim fitted. I wanted to purchase some of the front trim and was wondering if I could get it second hand somewhere.
I have also booked the car in for a free car check with Audi.
Will Audi update the mmi software if it needs an update or will they charge me for it?

I have one, i use Audi sport, which was a decent enough community.

Im surprised you have different bits of trim, mine has the aluminium trim in the doors, the fronts are pitted quite a bit now, due to the seat belt hitting them, bit of a poor design. They can be swapped out quite easily, best to keep an eye on ebay for a nice set, the avant and saloon are the same.

Audi have been updating my software for free, sat nav upgrades are chargeable.
