Will 3GB 780ti's in SLI be ok for a 34" ROG Swift or X34 Predator widescreen ?

Guys am looking at ordering one these monitors today either the Asus or Acer 34" widescreen monitor but will my 780ti SLI be ok for now with the 3440x1440 with my GPU's only having 3GB of memory ?

I will be upgrading to a single or SLI GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 at sometime later this year..

I'd say the VRAM will be pushing it but in the meantime until next year it'll be fine, you know yourself that 2560x1440 we never really go over 3GB so with with some settings lowered (which you'll need to anyway) 3440x1440 is doable on High.

Am guessing with 0xAA it should be fine...

I see over 5gb usage at regular 1440p, I've no idea what results you'd get with 3gb at a bigger res.

I think you could use x2 AA and be okay.

What the hell do you play and what settings! BF4 Ultra MSAA x2 = 3GB Shadow Of Mordor with some settings lowered.

Dying Light everything turned up gets me about 80-90 fps and about 5.5gb usage.

Yes but you will need a sacrifice a few settings on some games, will still look great though, gsync will help
