So I got my 1080 G1 Gaming today ran 3dmark firestrike benchmark and I get these results http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12456688

Score 16986

Graphics 21860
Physics Score 12839
Combined Score 7765

But I compared it with some others and they have it at 24-26k

Is there something wrong here?

Heaven Benchmark Score is 2761

Yes, which narrows things down slightly but I still wouldn't of expected to find a 1080 being that close to a 1080 surely?

I checked my score and I am 2k more than you on graphics score so does look like something is amiss but not by much. Did you have anything running in the background perhaps?

Go into NV control panel and put all settings to high performance for 3D mark. Also set custom fan profile for 1080.

People are right in that your physics score is bringing your total score down, but I would have hoped for more on a 1080 for graphics.

So what are the 1080's getting in general on Firestrike?

Scores of just over 20k are disappointing as my 780's in SLI were getting 22k 3 years ago.

I was going to pull the trigger on Friday on the AMP Extreme (OC say they should have it in stock this Friday). I was expecting at least a 30% improvement in performance :/
