I've always been a fan of his music, and there's no doubt he's certainly had a turbulent life. I also have to admit when I saw him in concert two years ago in Glasgow it was the biggest disappointment ever. You could clearly see his backing singers carrying him through the high notes and it was clear he no longer had the magic he'd displayed throughout the early days of his career. I'm still glad I had the chance to see him though and I'm hoping he makes a speedy recovery.
