I didn't notice that at first either expect this is a 1080 Gaming X with pre fitted Waterblock or very similar to that.
Waiting a week for a custom waterblock isnt worth paying £190 today. Thats all im saying.
Plus I doubt normal EK Backplate they sell will be same as one that comes with the prebuilt one. Even the standalone Waterblock might be slightly different.
Your also paying for a no trouble warranty unlike if you did yourself.

Well the MSI X is now £630 but it wasnt before but I was more referring to the fact that you could buy another, decent AIB card and the clear full block for £80 although I did forget the nice back plate at £20 though.
Plenty of Aib cards due in next week at well under £600 plus £80 plus £20 so its at least £100 premium.
As somebody has already said, in the states its £566 plus VAT = £679
Maybe add another £20 for gouging/shipping and it should be £699.
I suspect cause ocuk have an exclusive and the card was only announced today (well done Gibbo btw) that there is currently an exclusive £100 tax on it atm.
I bet within a month it will be £699.
True backplate wont have a dragon on. But I bet the block is exactly the same. There is good reason the first none standard waterblock you can buy from EK is the one that fits this card. Clearly EK arent going to spend any money redesigning it when they have built it once.

The msi armor uses the same PCB as the gamibgX and is 575... on the gamingx you are already paying 55 for the bigger cooler with RGB, which you dont even get with the waterblock version
No it doesn't it's basically I think aimed at people who want as easy a set up as possible. This card a EK P360 Kit and 2 extra fittings would give someone a complete custom loop without them worrying about looking for parts.
No worry as a dremel could fix that little problem in no time...
Custom PCB means nothing (marketing) in this efficient and voltage locked generation.
