980ti or 1070?

I need you to give me computer setup which will be up to £1100 with 16GB of ram at least and an i7. I need it for live streaming and gaming. In terms of the graphics card which one would you recomend me to take and why?
+ if I take the 1070 in how long will it be delivered?

The 1070 is faster than a 980ti and some are cheaper or generally the same price, ask customer services when they are due in.

Yeah..I was gonna get another 980 for SLI...but not at the prices they are now..can get a 1070 for less

At current prices a GTX980Ti. That said I would wait until the end of the month for the RX 480.

The GTX 1070 is faster, has more Vram and consumes less power. Why would you go with the 980 ti ?

As you can see the 980 ti isn't cheaper.

This makes no sense. The card stays the same, the whole "drivers getting slower thing" has been proven time and time again to be a farce (buggy driver releases aside).

That said, either buy a 1070 or wait for the prices to come down. No reason to purchase an old card now.

Yeah it's more getting more out of the more recent card as driver updates roll out. The older ones at Nvidia do not benefit as much so the newer cards pull away. It's natural.
