Listening To Music = Deserve to Be Attacked

Just watching the BBC and they are showing LGBT Parade trying to defy a ban on it happening. Istanbul security forces using tear gas and plastic bullets on them according to the BBC.

Religion. Nothing else.

And David Cameron wants this country to join the EU.

Still want to vote remain?

He said he supports the idea but doesn't believe it will happen anytime in the firs foreseeable future slightly different to your implication and nithing to do with a bunch of idiots breaking Turkish law mind you I wouldn't be drinking and partying during Ramadan in a majority Muslim country as even though it doesn't justify a beating it is pretty disrespectful!

Obligatory religion of peace and prosperity comment.

You could possibly understand it if it was the Red Hot Chilli Peppers ;)

Saw something in the news recently about a muslim school in Birmingham distributing leaflets to its students about various things, one of which being that music and dancing were "acts of the devil". These were discovered by an unannounced ofsted visit.

If anyone wants it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-36548882

The school is round the corner from where I live, and considering where it is, it never surprised me when the news came to be. :(

I believe this happened last year too. Turkey don't mind Gay Pride unless it falls on Ramadan.

listening to radiohead whilst drinking, or defending oppressive violent sky fairy believers.
Incredibly I'm with Radiohead's description "violent intolerance".

Read your own link buddy, have a look at the date. The state of the world has changed quite a bit in the last 10 years. However, nice one on trying to pick an argument over anything I post on here!

I'm well aware of how long ago pinker made the case, if you'd watched it you'd see how far back he is comparing to and that he includes WWI/II etc and mentions a blip in the 60s.

By the way I think you're being a little paranoid android :)

Violence will go up rapidly once the water levels steal billions of livelihoods, short reprieve that actually damages our ability to make the only logical decision.
