** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

Spoke with Inno3D, V2 is for Asia market, V1 is EU/UK market at present. :)

What can I say....Gibbo your a credit to OC. Ya put my mind at rest and gave out important information to those looking to jump to a diffrent card.

Thank you for your efforts and I hope you enjoy your drinking session with Nvidia, the amount of cash they are making with this launch. I hope you get to drink some of the good stuff, no Grants vodka for you!!

No surprise that the more expensive gigabyte extreme package is the one that will be in stock earliest. =/ Called that last week and sure enough...

Smart tactics, they know people mainly want the card, so on first waves they ship the more expensive pack with the extra bits in that to be honest most people do not need but will pay the £40 more to get the card sooner.

Though I do have to admit Gigabyte have nailed it with the Extreme and Waterforce series having 1936MHz boost clocks, overclocked memory and 4yr warranty. I think these are the fastest out the box cards on the market and also have a great warranty package.

@ Gibbo.

Im also after news on Asus Strix 1080 please.

Ordered on 3rd June and eagerly awaiting as well as others on the forum, so any confirmation on queue | priority would appreciated.

Im down to the onboard gpu on the 6700k... :o

Po|ygon

I'm running on that measly Intel HD 530. Dreadful.

Gibbo has said about 50 in this week, last week I was around the 300 mark in the queue and I ordered on the 31st at 00:31. Hopefully a lot of people have cancelled. :D

Ugh, poor showing by EVGA, they are pretty much the only AIB to not ship anything other than the FE cards at all!

I'd switch from my 1080 FTW to probably the MSI Gaming X, but it will cost me about another £20 or so to do it given the price of the cards has gone up since I ordered it.

Considering the ETA slipping several times on the EVGA 1080 FTW, any chance OCUK would be able to switch my order from 1080 FTW (first in line!) to the MSI Gaming X without extra charge?

Hi,

I spoke with you phone sales team about what i should do with my Order as i have a full system bundle ordered since 3rd June and was 283rd in the queue.

I said what would be best to change my graphics card to either the GLH or the G1 and the gentleman said that i would be best going for the GLH as i should get it this week.

Looking at what youve posted Gibbo that might not have been the best advise ive been given. Do you think i will get my order this week as im going to be away after that so could mess with me being able to collect my full system

Cheers

I was thinking the same, 11th in the queue for FTW last time I checked. I was thinking about going MSI gaming X also, but trying not to think about it and just hold on a little longer. Man this is a pain in the ass waiting

They are sending everything they make to the US

Not fair to the UK and EU market :(

I am pretty much right on the edge :(:(
