it's easy to say just ignore it , drive on, but everyone reacts differently
you were not really wrong in your reaction but as there was no harm done,i would advise just to leave it.
there is just no fear anymore, they know nothing will come of it if the cops get them
having said that kids will be kids and they just love winding people up and getting a 'chase'.
on a similar note, i gestured at a driver that came to close to me while cycling
he hit the brakes and was going to confront me but drove on. i was not hurt but he could have knocked me off so i just reacted. if they'd got out and started i'd be worse off i'm sure, so i've learned a bit and will just curse to myself from now on
