why does it say in the slide 480 and in the disclaimer 470?
it was the 480, its slide 31's benchmark notes that has the info. But one thing that stood out is how it says '16.1.1' drivers... those are from january...

I have a 390x and am downloading the steamvr bench now. I'll post my results but I got a feeling I'm going to get much more than 6.3.

Take that as you like, but for me, this pretty much confirms the 1500+ OC capability. Wonder if it's on air, though.
looking at that cooler i would expect it to be pushing it on air more so if its upto 150w
comes up as a 4.7GB download for me.

I don't know. It might, but then again, this could just be a PR guy hyping favorable articles. Simply because someone at Sapphire runs the page doesn't mean they are privy to inside info.

The disclaimer is for slide 31. I'm seeing 480 8gb.
I think you need to read back a few pages.............
it does say 16.1.1 drivers though, so something weird is going on there anyway, regardless of not having info about the presentation for the slide.

you could say the same thing for any priced gpu.
and if 80% of gpu owners own a £200 gpu, then thats more chance of someone buying a £600 vr headset than the other 20% isnt it.

Interesting, i just bought the BenQ 1440p 144hz Freesync screen, waiting for it to turn up, will be interesting to see what cable they bundle with it.
I have a DP1.2 cable in my drawer here at work, infact i have about 15 of them lol, will just take one home anyhow.
MAYBE it's underclocked for low power VR. That's the most optimistic interpretation I can think of.
Then this PR guy should be fired, because if you look at that page, that's mostly what his been doing. On the post where they link the article, it basically says: "The clock counts...and how it does!"
