Advice please. 780ti SLI to 1080?

Considering going for a single card set up. Is it worth the move from my 2 780tis to a single 1080?

Imo yes, it'll give you pretty much your peak SLi performance but without the mGPU headaches

Overall you'll gain lots of performance

Well the 1080 will mostly be as fast as your 780Tis and in quite a few cases, faster however, the outlay is quite big but you also get 5GB of more VRAM for bigger resolution gaming.

It should be quite a bit faster than 780Ti SLI. But without the SLI headaches.

Better drivers, better optimisations. All in all a decent upgrade if you can spare the change and sell your 780Ti's.

And its only 180w aswell vs the 4-500w for 780Ti SLI.

Same but inconsistent performance, 3GB ram is reason alone to dump the ti's, that and big power draw and heat.

I agree with this. You'll have to pay around £300+, plus what you get from selling your cards. I'd sooner put that towards a 1080Ti.

And I myself is looking at upgrading my SLI 780ti setup due to now owning a 34" ultra wide monitor and now need more Vram then 3GB..

I'd go for it myself. The ti may be silly money and you'll be able to sell anyway for decent money if you time things right.
