This won't stop immigrants at all and I say this as an immigrant from Germany.

The majority of immigrants come from Africa, Pakistan, Asia which are all outside the EU so we will still be getting hundreds of thousands of them every year like we have been every year.

We will need to say STOP soon though as we're only a small island and I for 1 don't want England to turn into new Pakistan or new Africa because "muh multiculturalism maaaannn".

So what is your solution. A points system won't stop this as most will either already be passing on points or be on spousal visas and bypass that system.

Would have thought it would be the next load of stock that would go up, prices now would have been invoiced at the old exchange rate

Invoices dont matter, its when the payments in dollars need to go out, if OCUK is sitting on a load of stock it hasnt yet bought the currency for then it would be screwed basically

Which generation?

(YouGov poll)
18-24: 75% Remain
25-49: 56% Remain
50-64: 44% Remain
65+: 39% Remain

Considering the amount of people that voted I think the actual numbers were more towards leave for all generations. Although I suspect still remain at least for the youngest.

The original vote to join was made by those older people at the top too. So they just undid their original decision in some cases.
I was told by some truly ancient peeps that the original vote was considered a deception in retrospect

The UK has never been so united, over 1 million MORE people voted to Leave, they stood with each other to do so.

If you're talking about Scotland, they've been pushing to ununite for awhile

********

What ever the result, there was always going to be a large chunk of the country finger pointing and saying "See, this is your fault. We did try to warn you!". Look how many have been playing that card recently with respect to the EEC Referendum that happened decades ago. Except this has the potential to be worse.

I think we're all quite aware that the Leave side will get very little credit if things turn out well, and a lot of blame if they go badly. It's the British way.

Everyone who voted remain I plead you please contact your MP, this referendum is not legally binding, there are far more MPs that believe in remaining in the EU than not, the result is not enough of a majority and they can decide not to listen. ******* organise and fight!!!

Wouldn't have been complaining about the size of the majority if it had been 52/48 remain...

Wow the 'saltiness' has changed hands since last night - lot of smug people looking very silly.

Good result - time for change.

Didn't see that coming.... wow.

It looks like the UK-Scotland was 60:40 in favour of leaving. Scotland 75:25 in favour of remain.

I guess it's bye, bye Scotland in the next few months.

In which case i'm sure there would have been some people on the other side asking for the same thing he is.
