As someone of immigrant stock, I think the British are the sanest, bravest people in the world. We, and I am proud to call myself British, know what's best for us. Brexit won, democracy won.

Headlines on the frontpage of traders screens

What do you think will happen within the corporate bond market? GBP, USD and EUR? Do you think the high yield/xo market will rebound, even the stressed/distressed market, or do you reckon it won't have much of an impact?

The pound is already tanking, even before any serious trading has opened. Businesses will certainly be looking to leave if the UK has an uncertain short term future and some will probably never return.

Business won't leave due to short term changes. They are going to now sit tight as in reality nothing will change at least for 2 years. Then make an educated choice. By that point everything will be settled at least in the UK.

I think the one thing this result tells us is that the #usepens campaign clearly worked  I feel sorry for the people who were up all night rubbing out all of the leave votes as all their efforts have gone to waste because of a social media campaign :(

honestly, was expecting a narrow win for remain. But, the result reminded me of this:

a tweet sent by the Lithuanian president just after Cameron had finished negotiating his 'deal' back in February. And i can remember thinking at that point - 'you really have no idea' :o
