Waking up to a smug Farage on the TV wasn't what I personally wanted - but others apparently do. I respect the decision, but do worry about the economy in the short-medium term.

Not surprised to see Cameron planning to step down, was fairly inevitable.

Fair play to David Cameron. He simply had to step down following this vote and he's done so immediately but is staying on until October to steady the ship. He had the courage to let the people decide their future, even though he's had the opposite view.

The most hilarious thing is that we now have NO/ZERO stay on what goes on on our own continent.

Whilst it had it's shortcomings, at least being a member of the EU meant we had a say and VETO ( the most important thing) on what went in with our closest neighbours.

Now we have nothing so they quite literally can do what they want.

Interesting that he's basically passed the buck on Article 50.

Gives Leave the hand now to be the ones actually deciding on whether we leave the EU.

I'm disappointed this morning only for selfish reasons I've never bothered get in an argument over the leave and stay argument I was hoping wed stay in

I've got a feeling ill be out of the job before Christmas as an industrial electrician I work mostly on new build factory's and expansions and most of the firms that have them built are foreign can't see much investment happening for a while now

Oh well let's hope the dole que pays enough keep bailiffs away

So just checked the value of the FTSE. It has dropped 8%. Pretty staggering really especially when you take into account the 10% drop in value of the pound sterling.

Well when the anti UKIPers said tough luck in the last election that delivered 1 MP from 14% of the vote the remainers will just have to suck it up :p

So Cameron lies on article 50 and thereby disappoints the one last hope I had for him being a decent human being.

Voting split by age:-

18-24 75% Remain
24-49 56% Remain
50-64 44% Remain
65+ 39% Remain

****** over again by people that will be dead soon.

18-24, bone idle students, SJW trash, part time Starbucks baristas, the most uninformed dullards on the planet. I'd expect nothing else from that age group.

A dark day for Britain. Fearmongering and bigotry has triumphed over progress and prosperity.

The UK's farmers will find themselves in an interesting position. 50% of their income is derived from EU subsidies. I wonder how the UK will make up the shortfall without access to the EU money tree.

Pound going back up now. Also we should bare in mind that the pound did go up a lot yesterday so that can make a fall look bigger than it actually is.

Cut it with the personal attacks, it just makes you look ridiculous.

Can anyone explain what "Cameron lies about Article 50" means? I just got into work and missed any talks / his speech.

Is Corbyn going too?

I ****** hope so. Talk of calling a general election soon. A weak Labour leader means the Torys can go as right as they wish.

The people in the "north" who voted for leave are going to live to regret their choice.

Corbyn has been a disaster for British politics.
