Maybe forcing the PM out is what explains the vote to leave (surprise). I dont get why the events are connected exactly but thats politics, I dont like the stuff

Now they keep saying Boris will be leader, codswallop lol makes no sense to me.
Market is recovering some if thats any comfort to some, its never all one direction

Precisely. They are the most to blame.

Merkel has potentially killed the EU. Without her one statement that everyone was free to come to Germany (and therefore the EU) I feel the remain camp would probably have just had enough votes. After brexit there will be increased pressure from the populations of other countries to hold their own referendum. If a second country leaves in the next few years it really will trigger a domino effect.

Best quote by Lord Tebbit on the news in response to the financial reporters saying the markets are through the floor and will continue to drop:

If these guys knew which way the markets were going they'd be a whole lot richer than they actually are

So true

I'm holding my British passport in my hand and trying to get my head around the fact that this is all it will ever be now: a mere British passport. No more EU access.

Given the number of foreign owned energy concerns here, probably. Weak pound won't help either. Good chance some of the vote leave elderly will be killed off in the coming winters.

It's already tough enough right now with the insane energy costs, I fear the coming months.

I think a lot of people are going to be in for a rude awaking if this is the case with everything else increasing in price.

I woke up at 3am to go to the loo and my parents were watching the live news as Poll results were coming in. At the time all the results coming in were remain far outnumbering leave. I wake up today and people are dooming and glooming, even on the GPU threads. I assume leave won?

You can doom and gloom after things get bad in several months. Until then it's like a new GPU release... we know jack all about what will happen.

That's my 2 cents, I'm outta here.

How does that help things?

If he's paying tax and contributing to the economy then what's the issue?

Sorry he doesn't believe in the same ideals as you but the likelihood is he wont have a place in shaping the UKs future. Save the bile for the people who are in a position to do something and aren't.
