Right, that's the referendum out the way, time to start IN-SOURCING our IT back to the UK

Which IT is that? US and Japanese companies that are able to offer a lower price point here and much easier 24x7 cover by being able to move their work with the sun?

I can't imagine they are falling over themselves to do that.

The triumphalism and bitterness of some in this thread is disappointing. Can I urge everyone to take a deep breath, calm down and think before we post. What happened yesterday is democracy at its finest, people can have differing visions and views but it needn't be about division.

Democracy gives the British people the absolute right to make this decision; it does not give us the right to not suffer the consequences of the utterly stupid decision we have made.

He's actually right, and he's arguing in a manner which does not resort to personal attacks, something I'm glad most of us are capable of.

For those that do post personal attacks in this thread - or anywhere on this forum- you will be suspended. I've handed out four suspensions in the last five minutes, and won't hesitate to do so again.

I don't wish for this thread to be closed, but if people can't debate about this without resorting to personal attacks and name calling, then I'm afraid you won't debate about it at all.

Yes, it's a standard design.

Now open the page and read the bit where it says the traditional bit about allowing passage.

It's a British passport and would probably change style if/when we finally leave but the eligibility of it and the ability of the holder to travel will not change (except possibly EU countries). Read the page with all your data. Who is the issuing authority?

EDIT: Even the Mirror agrees.

My point is that they are still EU passports, whether they are owned and issued by the UK or not, so we will need to change to non-eu passports over time. haha the trusty mirror eye :p

Not a hope in hell of them moving the wing manufacture abroad.

1 the guys int he factories on the continent are not trained nor qualified to work at anything like the pace required (the euro factories dont have self certification for work, the work has to be second party inspected, we used to do that here but higher production rates meant rhey had to move to first party stamping).

Secondly moving/making a new jig takes years.

If they started doing that we'd be on strike and rhe company out of businessbefore they could even get one up and running producing 1 wing a month versus the 11 a month we knock out on 320 alone.

You wont be on strike as that will be illegal in the UK soon.

Farage has already said the 350M will NOT now go to NHS!

Btw please don't start posting lies about the Scottish economy and it's possible deficit.

It gets very annoying.

BoE having to bail out the UK 250 billion or 32 years of the UK's EU budget in 1 week!

UK hasn't even left yet.

Next up Gove and privatisation unhindered of NHS to US companies, I'm sure they can now speed up negotiations unhindered.

So you think that by voting leave they are going to get up and go?

I think that the people affected by the problem hope it will curb the rate that those immigrant's are entering the area yes.

As without free movement most will not be able to come.

Its not really a problem for me i live in an area without a large concentration of eastern Europeans so it wasnt a factor in my vote.

Jist giving a possible reason for tge big out vote in wales

Yesterday I had a first in Computer science and plenty of friends from other cultures.

Apparently I lost all that this morning because of my vote :(

Any one know if I've missed the boat on a BTEC in Window Licking?

Thanks leavers, made my student loan a whole lot cheaper :)

Not going back now, only question is German citizenship to get my EU rights back or just **** off the Canada and watch this whole mess unfold.

I sincerely hope it works out but I find it very hard to see any positives in the next few years.

All my university educated friends on FB seem to strongly support remain, whereas the my uneducated friends who do quite low level work strongly support leave.

Same. The country is being held hostage by those who never tried hard, thought school was a joke, and had children young and expected the government to pick up the bill.

Someone in my office is disappointed now we are leaving and reveals they didn't bother to vote...I had to bite my lip.

Around 30% of the eligible population didn't bother to vote. Wonder if most of them wanted to stay.
