Like I said before, not when the card isn't in stock. I'm 111th in the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC Gaming ACX queue. It won't be in OCUK til next week, likely the week after. It's now £619.49. I got it for £589.99. I "saved" £29.50 and can still cancel before it turns up. Chucked it on the credit card too...
Good luck selling any at those prices.
Don't hold your breath on that one. I cancelled my order for the MSI Aero yesterday after no one could tell me when they were coming in. After a few more people asked the same question on this thread Gibbo did say he would contact MSI for an answer. I haven't seen an update post from him yet on that. I was told by CS on Monday that MSI had shipped the Aero's to OCUK and it was just about when they landed with them. I think that was a lie, maybe not so much a outright lie but someone clearly didn’t know what the situation was and took a punt. Not good enough.
OC, you guys are way too impulsive. Not a single competitor in the UK has raised their prices. The extra few £ you'd make on a sale won't be worth the reputation hit. Anyone looking at a card today will hit your site, think "screw that ****", hit a competitor, buy and be less inclined to check your site for a short period. Cards you have IN STOCK should be sold at the rate you pay for them, otherwise, you are quite simply jacking up a price on something that hasnt thus far cost you any more. Once they are out of stock, its fair game to raise prices as you wish, but damn, you guys are ruthless.
Its not even just the GPU prices raised. Damn near everything. You guys do realise the GBP/USD conversion was weaker then it is today back in March, but i didn't see prices change? I guess there wasn't high demand for something back then?

Clever, jack the prices up briefly and create a stir and then drop them back down again so people think **** I better grab one now before they go back up!
A few people who were on the fence will now purchased. Genius.
Just checked my queue position again for the MSI Gaming X. I'm now 22nd down from 9th on Wednesday. And still no ETA on the next shipment.
Not loving this queuing system!![]()
