GTX 1080 bottlenecked ?

I would but I can't afford a G-sync screen.

Interesting regarding the 6600k also what about the motherboard? Not sure about z170 mobos so I just picked what looked reasonable

I chose that screen purely as it was one of the cheapest 1440p 27" screens regardless of G/free sync tech

Nice! Thanks for the suggestions Stu. Certainly looks more appropriate for G-sync goodness. Not sure I can quite stretch that far mind. Im pushing it at 1150. Maybe I'll save a few more quid and get the i7 as well.

I have the same rig only at 4.5ghz. I use a dell 3415 and have a 1080 to put in tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.

Poneros, looks great and a nice price but it's 2" smaller.
