What's your budget & what games will you play with it? Imo a 960 at this point in time is a poor choice unless you find a sick deal.

Budget is about £180. Play Battlefield and fifa ect

There will be the 480 from AMD coming soon that will be aimed fairly square at 960/970 users and 1080p performance. The 960 wasn't much of a card when released, it will be even less of one soon enough.

The 4gb 480 should be about £170 and will be 970 or higher performance.

Does anyone else think its peculiar AMD release a 480 and 470 when the same model for Nvidia was notoriously hot, but pretty good ?

Absolutely do not get a 960. Wait till Wednesday and see what the RX480 is like price/performance wise.

Yea stay away from the gtx960 as it's about to get spanked. Even now the 380x pretty much put's it over it's knee and gives it a few smacks. It's really not a great card for the money.

I agree, most people bashed this card for being overpriced/low spec from release.

I doubt any 480 will be £170 in the UK, more likely for that price to get a 470 which will still beat a GTX 960 anyway by the looks of things so it's still good to wait a couple of days!
