Spoke with EVGA this morning, they aim to ship later this week I believe some 1080 and 1070 SC, so we expect delivery this Friday or next Monday.
 
Any update on the Asus 1080 OC deliveries?
Was 300'th in the queue about a week ago (not sure where I am now) and seriously considering swapping to an MSI Gaming X to try and get a 1080 faster. Any advice would be appreciated =P

was going to get one but.. long story short my friend wanted to buy my 1070 FE but I lost the screws so had to buy a 1080 FE to replace the screws .. ops :rolleyes:

No the i/o shield on my was normal silver stuff

Well done a little bit of testing only using 3dmark atm got my settings to this

Aero OC

Core clock to 2088
And memory to 5164

Running pass's on 3dmark firestrike ultra and no problems so far

but i'm no super clocking using afterburner and I find a bit fiddly what other software could I use

Yes. OcUK had the pre-orders up earliest and probably took upwards of thousands of orders in the midst of all the hype surrounding the launch. It'll be harder to get one here right now because of the long pre-order queues. Should settle down in July.
 
I'm impressed by the patience you are all showing. Wonder why the rate of production is so low? Poor yield on larger chips on a new process? May be why AMD went for small chips to start with?
