Unfortunately our business is not just graphics cards, due to brexit our business exploded end of last week, obviously people buying due to expected pound weakening and we also had several containers and small part deliveries.

No matter how many people get thrown at it, only so much can be done.

Our business employs permanent staff and we employ staff from worldwide, that includes UK, EU, Asia, people get the job based on their experience, qualifications and work ethic, where they come from has no factor them being employed or not as skin colour, religion is not a factor, you do a good job and work hard is simply all that matters. :)

That is the plan, I met with our warehouse guys this morning, told them which deliveries were priorities to try and have done by end of today, they are now cracking on with it. :)
 
Well ladies and gents. Having pre-ordered the Strix back on 30th May, and with little confidence I'll get it until at least mid July given the paltry rates at which they are drip feeding through, I'm afraid I've jumped ship.

I'm very happy with Overclockers service and will always order from here out of preference, but on this occasion (and at no fault to OCUK), I've had enough of waiting.

I've now ordered an MSI Gaming X, elsewhere, which is due for delivery today.

I will return for my next purchase! Although I may think twice before pre-ordering again! :D

Weird.

My original pre-order (OC3115900) has changed status to "cancelled".
No problem, ordered MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X again (OC3116839).

It's now in stock, awesome.
 
Gibbo - could you let us know when the EVGA stock (FTW) arrives please?

I decided, after a month of waiting for the Strix, I couldn't wait any longer.

So, I switched to the Gigabyte Gaming G1 instead.

My current 770 is a Gigabyte and I've been really pleased with it.
It's a little smaller than the ASUS card and I was a bit concerned about fitting it in my case.

Judging by all the reviews I've read, the 1080 is plenty fast enough out-the-box and easily overclocks to about 2.1Ghz no matter which brand you buy. ;)

Got the day off tomorrow too. :D
 
Shame the exchange rate has ballsed everything up now that stock is in / arriving.

I would have ordered but now I'll wait until prices become more 'sensible' !!

Fingers crossed we don't have to wait too long

Yes it is total carp. All the Gainward stop we have shipped at original honour prices, we actually made a loss on. :(

Prices are now adjusted based on 1.32 rate, gainward PO's were placed with a 1.45 rate, painful, very painful.

Need the rate back up towards 1.40, that is our only hope otherwise we lose big time when we pay for our stocks that have we already shipped.....
