Do you think if Gavrilo Princip had not been enjoying a nice Nescafe in a cafe and Franz Ferdinands driver had not taken a wrong turn, that WW1 would not have started, the Germans wouldn't have had their bums handed to them and got all grouchy allowing some Adolf bloke to get leary, that Brexit would not have happened?

Well that's one roller-coaster of a post.

With how things pan out, we could be in some thermo-nuclear war for all we know if WWI didn't happen.

Especially since the unification of the German states, the country has been a European powerhouse. British foreign policy in Europe has always been one of maintaining a balance. With those two factors in mind, at least one large-scale war with Germany was inevitable whether Princip or Hitler existed or not.

My tongue was in my cheek when I posted this....I fear in the current worry and panic this might have been missed :)

I'd like to meet Bridgit and explore the ways they feel impacted by the old archdukes death, maybe they just need a hug and someone to tell them it's going to be ok.

Well if moses hadn't freed the jews from egypt none of this would have happened.........

Good point. Might've been more appropriate to ask if we'd have Brexit if Otto Von Bismarck hadn't been born.
