Hi guys,

I got some RAM slot blanks from a dell server, I thought this would be a good idea for preventing any dust getting into the memory slot. Do you think this is a good idea and that they will fit fine. I've attached a photo of the blank sticks that I have.

Cheers.

To be honest I think that by the time a dummy will actually be useful at all, the rest of yoru PC is probably on fire from dust anyway.

Yeah I guess, I clean my PC regularly but I just thought seen as I got them what harm could it do and thought it may have been a good idea :P

Two words, compressed air
Seriously though, I doubt dust getting into the slots is going to be detrimental as long as you keep the system clean (Just clean when upgrading)

Yeah I know it's just I spent a lot of money and at the moment I have no cash. I suppose I could just put some more RAM in when I get the chance.
