It is hardly going to be a single person doing the negotiations, domestically Crabb is a fresh face - Gove is a bit toxic, as is the complete joker Hunt. May is the competent establishment option but I just don't trust her.

Unfortunately it is probably going to be May... can only hope that the history of long-shots coming through gives Crabb a chance.

To be honest, experience aside, I wouldn't want Crabb anyway. His social beliefs are rather problematic.

I'll settle for May, but I won't like it. Honestly, I'd have preferred BoJo.

But I'm a lefty/progressive/remainer anyway. They're all *****

DC must be literally ****ing his pants with laughter.

We will get to the point in the day/month/year, where everyone will say, well you know cameron wasn't that bad.

because now we will either get a raging homophobe or a fascist in charge of the UK, lol

LOL couldn't possibly have someone so common in No10.

The rest of it? Meh, he's hardly the only one to have voted for benefit cuts and against gay marriage.

That wasn't my point at all.

You would think he would have some sympathy for single parents from poor economic backgrounds, but apparently not based on how he voted...

Certainly the funniest two posts in this thread and perhaps the most insightful as well.

Which is terrifying.

He looks more like some of the enemy soldiers in N64 Goldeneye/ Perfect Dark

Love how Boris and Grove puncked everyone. I'd prefer him to May.

On the Labour front, who come Harriet Harman has never stood for leader? I thought she was good when she stepped in after Brown.

Is anyone actually suprised that Boris isn't going to stand?

Whoever takes up the role now isn't going to last long. Boris will come in after the ****storm has blown over as "the saviour" of the party. Pretty sure Gove will be his right hand man too.

This is really starting to feel like an extremely elaborate episode of Punk'd.

Any moment now Ashton Kutcher is going to be broadcast across all TV stations and proclaim 'Ha UK, you got Punk'd!'.

If that is the case, it's weird that Gove would put out a statement saying he's running because "Boris cannot provide leadership"
