Aurora 2

I'm looking at the Aurora 2 Silver 1ltr for an upcoming build, the page says it's designed for longer term use, is this compared to other silver coloured fluid, (Which I heard is only designed for displays) or just longer term as in a couple of years?

I was considering that fluid too for my loop, but after reading on various forums even the Aurora 2 doesn't seem to last more than 6 months. And by last I mean the particles won't look as nice as when you first put it in.

That said it all depends on your loop and usage of the system. Some have reported almost a year long usage with the old Aurora 1, yet some have only had a few weeks before the particles have started to drop out of shape.

Still thought that despite them saying when they developed it that it was going to be for long term use, they still say now its for show only.

google it and you will see, that unless its the most simplest of loops like a cpu block and one rad, some people have the affect disappear within a week or so.

Just spent all day researching this on the internet as going to buy some for my new build but ordered pastel now instead.

Even if it lasted a few months I dont fancy the fuss you have to go through to get it all out of your system.
