Seems like he was pushed then if he's been up to no good. The Wiki page has this;

Seems like he might have been acting a **** off camera as well as on it?
 
Was it last nights one, where he was driving the rebuilt MG B? I thought he did a really good job with that piece.


Surprised the BBC haven't blamed it on Brexit tbh.
 
Good he was abysmal from the start, i didnt like him before he attempted Top Gear so i was never going to be keen but he wash horrendous and not even remotely funny.

Better still, sign the rights to the show back over to Clarkson and let them do it next season.

People have been saying that for years and viewing figures remained pretty much the same until Clarkson left.

Hypothetically if Top Gear did return with Clarkson the viewers would all return, you know they would.

Good. Might watch the next series of Top Gear now if they make one. Didn't watch a single episode of this series but from the trailers it looked like they were trying to do what Clarkson et al did - that's never going to work. Get rid of The Stig would be the first change I'd make, but all that Stig merchandise is probably too profitable.
 
Chris Harris is the only one on the show with the knowledge and charisma to run the show. The other guy who I think should stick to childrens TV is awful!
 
I have to say I think MLB is a cool cat but as others have said he doesn't have a co-producer to bounce off of - Chris Harris on the other hand would be perfect. I thought Evans' shouty approach was just too over the top/cringy.

I definitely don't want Top Gear to finish as on balance is does get you close to some awesome vehicles

Less Evans & Eddie (jeez he's annoying too), less interviews and boring challenges
More MLB and Chris Harris, more car reviews even if it's cars for normal people
