That's probably the direction they decided to go in after they fired over 100 of their staff almost a year ago.
100 wow...

Spybot Anti-Beacon is all you need and it's free.
Right, the most annoying thing is the key logger, why does MS care what we type & I don't want the wrong person (well no person) getting what I type...
Took you a while.
So what have I concluded? All I said was it took you a while. You like jumping to conclusions don't you.
Yes, but when it does a windows update they turn on the spy tools again...

The fact that you're in denial? That was not concluded from the phrase "it took you a while", that was concluded several months ago when you denied things like the Utah Data Mining Centre's existence and went on a little irrational-borderline-emotional rant with various titbits I've mentioned years ago over dozens of threads which you've kept pent up because you were never able to compose a rational rebuttal in their respective threads.
Since you're in denial about a lot of things I'm logically inclined to believe you possess the level of irrationality required to deny entire fields of research and academia such as Data Mining, which is what my post was discussing with another member when you suddenly butted in with your troll post "Took you a while.", which is why that part of my post was followed by a question mark. I am asking you, not concluding, whether you are denying the existence of the field of data mining. Which you still cannot answer.
You don't seem to be able to debate things very well at all. Due to your history, I'm assuming (not concluding hence the question mark!) that you are denying what I said. Which is on the topic of Data Mining. Anyway, stop trolling please. This is the Windows discussion forum not the Windows fanboy forum. If you have something to discuss, discuss it. I don't have time to be figuring out what trolls on the internet are trying to say with their one-line nonsense.
As an NSA agent I can neither confirm or deny.
And Spybot Anti-Beacon will turn them off again on reboot if you have checked that option.
Windows 10 is a Tool to Spy on Everything You Do
Yes, but when it does a windows update they turn on the spy tools again...

I wonder how many more people will jump on this,They apparently settled $10,000 to save on legal costs.![]()
Microsoft said it had dropped its appeal to save on legal costs.
Two words. Data Mining. It's serious business these days. FB, MS, Google/YouTube, basically anyone who's primary service doubles up as an EPSIS is going to be data mining.
Resistance is futile because EPSIS operate at multiple layers and levels. It was inevitable that Microsoft would eventually establish their entire operating system as an EPSIS due to the fact that the data scope would be at the OS level, as opposed to application or service or transport level.
The ability for Microsoft to data mine at the OS level is worth far more than charging people for Windows. Which is why it's not about sales any more. It's about how many systems can be infected.
