I know 1155 is pretty old now, but i have a relatively good CPU which hasn't caused me any problems with my i7 3770 and i would rather not replace it until i really need to.

I have a GTX 970 atm which is brilliant for me, and a friends PC has broken down and he's donated me his spare 970 and i'd like to use it in an SLI... however i only have an ATX board with 1 PCI E 3.0.

I've searched a while on the net and cannot find a place to get a board that supports what i need in the UK although i have found quite a few that support AMD CrossfireX but not SLI.. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where to buy one from?

I'm specifically looking at this.

Thanks.

That one says 16x one slot and 4x the others so does not support SLI.

Does it have to be mATX form factor?

Not at all, any size would be fine.

I have just removed my Gigabyte UD5H Z77 board from my main ring and that seems to support what you want....

albeit with restrictions, which are typical of the chipset afaik.

Hmm, yes it does, i can't find one even second hand anywhere though..

I've still got of the Gigabyte Z77 D3H boards running now and it was perfect for SLI GTX 970s. So any of the Gigabyte Z77 D3/5/7 etc. should do hat you want.

I'm pretty sure a link to ebay would be against rules but a quick search found 2 or 3 available. They still have value so you'd be lucky to get proper cheap one. Much better to get one in a box with all the manuals and from a seller with decent feedback.

I'd expect to sell my i5 3570K + mobo + RAM for between £100-150 fairly easily.
