The price of leaving the EU will cost far far more than any minimal savings. Take decades to recoup.

if you take into account how much our country has grown in the last 30 years, lets use that as a trajectory for the next 30 years. it'll take 30 years to get back to what we were 2 weeks ago. That means right now we are many many years behind and playing catchup. Since I doubt we would remain static if we had stayed within the EU.

are you trying to equate an exponential growth to a liner one?

If not i expect to see a graph to back this "fact" up.

great but thats not what i asked. im asking you to prove that in the last 2 weeks we lost 30 years worth of growth.

or are you just now admiting you made it up?

I exaggerated like Trump, bite me ? :p

The point still stands, we are playing catch up from today and forever.

Whats your excuse for not having any facts.

Ive actually emailed Theresa May my email username and password to help save her a few $ (it will probably be $ by then) when she gets in. Just doing my bit for the economy and if we all did similar we could save the country a small fortune.

We did it! Commons votes by 245-2 to secure status of EU nationals in the UK. Govt can't now retreat on this. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Current immigrants aren't going anywhere. Good to see the first glimpses of certainty in what the future will look like for the UK.

They were never going anywhere anyway, but now we've lost the obvious 'yea but we'll do this' against the idea that our ex-pats have to come home.

People never think before going hysteria crazy.

It would be less. UK would be about £2.2bn compared to the £14.346bn it has been paying. http://euquestion.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/cameron-watch-how-much-does-norway-pay.html?m=1

It also gives you full access to the EU market as well.

An interesting read, though by their own admission the figures are estimates. If you look at other sites they put Norway's NET contribution at £93 a head and the UK's current contribution to the EU at a similar £96 a head. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Remainers want the EU to trash the UK's economy as revenge.

They do also admit Norway pay more than they need to because they want to access a lot of other programmes in the EU. I suspect the UK will also want to access these. It is a good ballpark figure and certainly shows a big difference.
