KFA2 or Inno3D GTX 1070?

Hi all,

I figure with the £ dropping, and supply still short, the GTX 1070 won't be dropping in price any time soon (and probably will increase).

I've been looking at the lower priced 1070's and wonder whether to go for:

My main concern is cooler quietness, and if there is substantial difference in the warranty.

Obviously the Inno3D has an extra year, but is either company known for bad CS, or does overclockers itself deal with the whole warranty for one?

Cheers.

Personally I would go for the KFA2. The Inno3D cooler is skinnier with what looks to be 80/92 mm fans. KFA2 is extended width to support 100mm fans which should allow it to run cooler and/or quieter.

Quick search shows Inno are re-using the cooler (shroud at least) from their 780, can't find any reviews to see how they fared though.

Yeah I was eyeing the difference in fan size, and thought maybe the KFA2 would be quieter.

Both are excellent.

Buy based on cooler, blower if small chassis or two in SLI and Inno if in larger case.

The two smaller fans of the Inno still nice and quiet?

Also does the Inno have a backplate? I just realised I can't really tell from the picture, and their own website doesn't have more pictures.

Thanks for the info :)

Ordered the Inno X2 based on Gibbo's recommendation. Will update on if it's nice and quiet, while keeping it cool enough to not throttle.
