Any thoughts on mounting my television to this stand?

I have just picked up an LG 55EC930 to replace my Sony KDL55W905 in my bedroom. I have a slight issue with my bracket, there are only 2 VESA mounts when I need 4.

I have screwed the top 2 as close as I can, I am thinking of sticking a piece of metal between the bottom 2 pieces and screwing them together. But does anyone have any suggestions?

Do it. If it falls, you need a better mount. If it doesn't, you're good to go

If you are concerned then bang a few nails through it from the front directly onto the wall, should hold it up a treat.
