Can somebody explain how did Asus decided to give OCUK only 50 Strix OC cards knowing that they have the largest preorder in the UK? Where are the rest of the 950 cards going? They said 1000 units will be shipped to the UK!

Yes I suppose you're right but if they're still making a healthy profit at £359 then why pull a little **** move to risk reputation as it's not the £20 I'm complaining about it's only £20 it's the fact they've just gone **** it lets throw another £20 on

Just been told I am 43rd so should get one in the batch. Now just need to find out about delivery. If they get today will it be sent today or 2mor. Will it be a next day or 3 day. I really hope they ask me before posting as I might need it to come to work or a neighbour.

Gibbo in other thread has said that just for forum users complaining about this, from 2pm to 7pm today it will drop back down to £359.99 again :)

Assuming your delivery arrangements are the same as mine, it's a next day Mon-Fri setup. if it ships today, then you should get it tomorrow, if it doesn't, it'll be Monday.

If mine doesn't ship today I'm going to get them to hold it and go down over the weekend to grab it.

Sweet! So hope for me, I should ask for an update, but I'm afraid in case I find out (for some reason) I'm at 63rd!

I'm guessing they'll ship tomorrow at worst.

checked my EVGA 1080 SC queue position this am as I suddenly got worried that all those Asus customers would have switched. Luckily I'm still in the running (position 35, ordered 31/5 16:20).

Stupid thing is a single 1080 is not that much quicker than the 2x MSI 970s I currently have - but that's when SLI works of course. When it doesn't eg for most current VR stuff as I understand, and Doom, I'm hoping for big improvements! But enough to justify the £280 (if I manage to get £300 for the 970s)...? Haven't explained this one to the wife yet!
