Companies House - Payment

Has anyone set up a Limited Company recently?

I'm trying to incorporate via the Companies House website and I'm stuck at the payment page. I've selected Debit/Credit card and it's asking me for some details I simply don't have; Presenter ID and authentication code.

What the heck are these? I've had a look through the help section and it mentioned pre-registering in order to get them but only if you're going to have 10 or more returns per annum - I'm not.

Completely stumped!

Always done it through a third party online, didn't even know you could do it directly, so my first question would be can you even?

I may be wrong but I definitly didn't need those in Febuary. Are you sure you're on the right page?

I think the presenter thing is a credit account sort of thing when you have a large amount of companies.

I thought I was on the right page. I've gone through the standard registration and had assumed I'd done everything right! May have to go back and check...

I assume it's the £50 to get all the documents? If so its only £15 via Companies House and it's easy.
