Hi All

Looking to get my lad a phone for his birthday. My hand-me-down Iphone 4 has finally packed up.

Any suggestions for an android phone between the £75 - £125 mark?

Not too bothered about power but would be nice to have something that will still let him play his clash of clans on.

Was thinking about a Gen 3 Moto G but not so sure.

Cheers

Wileyfox swift?
Unlocked, Dual Sim, marshmallow £125, though a friend got a white one for £99 from the the great big retailer with an A at the start recently.

With the MotoG 4gen coming out shortly I'd say you could get a 3gen for that sort of money.

I've had mine since release and it's been the best phone I've owned and coped with everything I've thrown at it.

With a £5 a month plan from ID the little SU6 looks like its the winner. Thanks again!

Great stuff, you can get an unlock code from ebay for a few quid.
They have released a newer version of the SU6 to a SU7 but the specs are practically the same just a different design and more expensive.

be careful if you unlock using ebay services any of Vodaphones phones you will void your 2 years warranty with them. Normally that's not an issue since you can fall back onto manufacturers warranty but in the Smart prime range no such manufacturer warranty exists as these are specifically manufactured for Vodafone by ZTE i believe and they don't honour the warranty on these.

also if you wish to buy the smart prime 6, but it from amazon and not Vodaphones website, its on there for 99 currently but dont get charged the £10 bundle that Vodafone forces onto your if you shop using their online shop.

also as mentioned the smart ultra 7 is also about to be released whether the extra is worth paying for the updated and better design is up to you.
