Deciding between a GTX 1070 and GTX 980Ti?

I'd go for a 980ti if I could get one around £250/£260.

After seeing the gains the 1070/80 get in Tomb Raider with dx12 async, i'd definitely go with the new tech over the old.

Unless you can get a 980ti really cheap second hand.

plus second hand is way too risky. Yeah might be cheap-ish, but when it dies after a couple months and there's no warranty, then what?

True. Somebody on here just recently got a cheap second hand 980ti for £300 and it lasted him 3 weeks
