My son has just come down stairs telling me about his 'Youtube Channel'

I knew nothing about this, he has done an intro and all that, and made some videos bless him, I am impressed to be honest, he's only 10.

could any of you with an account maybe leave him a comment, or whatever, for a bit of encouragement :)

thanks in advance guys,

his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoHRzzYsI7nmehO5kr-RoMw

intro (he made himself)

one of the video's:

A responsible parent would not allow a 10yr old into the toxic world of YouTube Comments. It also breaks YouTube Terms of Service which states you must be 16yrs or older to have a Channel.

Yeah, yeah. Grumpy old man etc. But I am right.

As much as he is seeing this is a bit of fun, YouTube can be a horrible toxic place, Be very careful on what he is watching and the people he is looking up to.

Hes got great skills for 10 though,

I must admit that it's sad but true that their are some jerks out there that just destroy peoples motivation. Still though as long as you guide him and just warn him about the jerks he should be fine and he seems to be enjoying himself.

Tell him to keep up the good work :)

Unsupervised internet access at 10

I guess this explains why May is concerned about content.

I was thinking that same thing, how many hours of unsupervised access to make those vids? Just wait until puberty and secondary school!

Oh please. I was playing GTA when I was 12 and I turned out alright despite the **** I got up to online at a young age. It did put me where I am today though, in a good way, learning how to code and general internet/computer knowledge. I know it was surely better than getting drunk down the local park.

As long as he is educated (which from the OP and content he clearly appears to be a bright kid) he'll be fine. Instead of wrapping kids in bubble wrap we should be encouraging ventures like this and just making sure they are guided :)
