Amazon Prime Day

I picked up a Amazon Fire Stick for £17 last year's Prime Day, i stayed in the box for 6 months then I got sick of looking at it and gave it to a mate so he doesn't need to connect up his laptop to watch Amazon Prime (Love Film) on his TV.

Then I replaced my Roku with the Fire 4k which is wonderful. Use it everyday.

I love my Fire Stick - perfect for turning any TV into a Smart TV and streaming from my NAS to my telly. Bit fiddly to get streaming set up at first but totally worth it.

I don't think I've seen the percentage claimed bar move so quickly :p

Gets delivered tomorrow

Oh my word that's a devastating price! Don't you already have an SG? Or was that a bass?

Might be keeping an eye out on ebay and gumtree for some buyer's remorse specials in the coming days

***REMOVED***

Ended up with my Fire Stick, a DP cable as my HDMI will now be populated by the FS and a bottle of Don Julio tequila :D

Just bought a shield, was humming and harring about 16gb or 500gb but have gone with the 16gb....... maybe i'll order the 500gb before the nights out :)

Some of these 'deal' are definitely a bit shifty. These caught my eye as I bought them from Amazon back in February this year for £10, not on offer or anything. They are now being sold for £10.99 as a Prime deal, with RRP listed as £17.

Remember, not everything is cheapest on Amazon, and not everything is cheapest on prime day either!

Been umming and ahhing about the same choice as have a £100 voucher to use. Apparently the 16GB version has an SSD whereas the 500GB doesn't. Could always put a micro sd in if space does get low.

It's a common practice, hence my ENCOURAGEMENT of using camelcamelcamel.

Some of the Gibson Guitars are only 50 off retail....I think with the standard I bought retail 899 anywhere online and getting a 300 quid discount is a ruse to trap you in...

For example they probably only had 8 for sale...if you miss out you feel dissapointed and end up buying another guitar that's only 50 quid off...

I was poised ready for the attack...I've never seen a deal get claimed so quick...

They must be selling them at cost...surely....

I nabbed a floor kit for my loft for 60 odd, it's genuinely half price.

Wasn't really after one, but it will help sort out my loft....man's gotta put his Amazon crap somewhere :p

I accidentally bought a subscription to Prime but there isn't anything I need/want.

Yeah I accidentally bought Prime because I clicked the button to join Prime and it went to an info page about Prime which said it's £7.99 a month. I worked that out to £95.88 a year and I thought it was £70 a year. So I figured there would be a payment page next and maybe a subscription length, so I clicked next and boom, I have Prime :o no payment/confirmation page, card select or anything.

I feel compelled to buy something now.. maybe, Amazon planned this.

Was only interested in the Samsung evo but it wasn't nearly a good enough deal. Meh.

Bought a 750GB Crucial ssd in the end, been looking for a bigger drive for a mostly games install drive for ages. It's not the fastest drive but gives me more space for the recent absurd game install sizes.

Grabbed a replacement weight lifting bench, heavy duty and saved £25-30, not bad.

Would have picked up a camera if I spotted a simple sub £150 camera on a good deal but either I'm blind or none came up.
