Hi All,
So my 330e is barely 3 weeks old and some numpty in the office next door has hit it in the car park! Thankfully he owned up to it straight away.
The damage is fairly minor, but unfortunately includes a small tear and a kind of crease/dimple which I think may well put it into new bumper territory. I've said I'll get a quote from BMW anyway just in case, but if that's beyond the chaps budget then is it worth using a Claims Management Company? (not even sure that's the right wording?).
The whole reason I got the 330e was to enjoy my commute (auto, quiet, quick) so I'll rather begrudge sitting in 30 miles of traffic every day in a 1.0l Polo or whatever nonsense an insurance company throws at me, as I understand it this is something a claims management company will sort for me? I also want to be certain it won't be recorded as a non-fault claim on my behalf, so to deal entirely with his insurance company?
Any recommendations / thoughts? TIA.
